WHO WERE THE ANGLO SAXONS?
Invading tribes in the south and east of Great Britain from the early 5th century A.D. (Wikipedia). The Anglo Saxons were a tribe from England and were composed of the Angles, Jute and Saxon tribes. (Teachertub.com PPT). They settled in the areas known as today England. Anglo Saxon period is the oldest known period of time that had a complex culture with stable government, art, and a fairly large amount of literature. Anglo Saxon was almost always in a state of war. Anglo Saxon was a Germanic tribe. Anglo Saxon period is a time filled with advancements and discoveries in culture, society, government, religion, literature, and art. Saxon was a Germanic people who first appeared in the beginning of the Christian era. (Hubpages.com)
